Rachael Kowalski

Hello!  I am Rachael Kowalski and I’m embarking on my 20th year of teaching secondary math! I’ve taught in Virginia Beach and Plano. I spent the last 2 years teaching Algebra at Willow Spring. This year I’ll be joining the Precal Team at LHS!

I graduated from SMU with degrees in Math and Computer Science, however I started my college days as a Music Major! Though quite a bit out of practice, I play clarinet, piano and guitar and love singing.

My husband and I are quite busy with 3 sons and a dog.  If I’m not in my classroom, you can find me cheering on my boys or playing with them at the tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, golf course or band hall (I’m definitely on the pickleball bandwagon, too)!  I absolutely love the outdoors, traveling, music and of course math!

I LOVE teaching because helping students find success and learn to believe in themselves with challenging material brings me so much JOY!
