Lovejoy ISD is excited to announce the hiring of Sarah Dean as the new Assistant Principal at Lovejoy High School. Dean brings over 22 years of experience in public education with a strong background in campus administration, instructional leadership, and curriculum development.
Ms. Dean most recently served as Assistant Principal at Navarro Elementary in Bryan ISD, where she oversaw campus operations, student support, testing coordination, and led data-driven instructional practices. Prior to that, she held curriculum leadership roles in Fort Bend ISD, developing district-wide literacy plans, aligning curriculum with TEKS, and providing professional development for teachers and administrators. Dean began her career as a classroom teacher and reading specialist.
Known for fostering inclusive school environments and strong relationships across campus communities, Ms. Dean holds a Master’s in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston and a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies from Houston Baptist University. She and her husband, Justin, have three daughters—Piper, Quinn, and Mabry—and are excited to join the Lovejoy community.
Please join us in welcoming Sarah Dean and her family to the Leopard family.
