Lovejoy ISD is proud to announce Conrad Rodriguez as Head Boys Soccer Coach and Science Teacher. Mr. Rodriguez brings with him a strong record of academic excellence and athletic achievement, along with a deep passion for student development both in the classroom and on the field.

Most recently, Coach Rodriguez served at Garland High School in Garland ISD, where he taught Integrated Physics and Chemistry and led the boys' soccer team to historic success. Under his leadership, the program achieved multiple playoff appearances and set school records for goals, assists, and defensive shutouts. His 2024 team secured the school’s first-ever Area Championship and Regional Quarterfinal appearance.

Rodriguez's educational journey spans over six years in Texas public schools, with previous teaching and coaching roles in Frisco ISD and Corpus Christi ISD. He is known for building collaborative instructional teams, mentoring new teachers, and driving improvements in student performance through data-informed strategies. 

Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Education from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Coach Rodriguez has been married to his wife Ashley for 8 years, and they have two young daughters, Alina and Carmen.
