Lovejoy ISD is proud to celebrate the four hundred and twenty students at Lovejoy High School who have earned AP Scholar Awards and recognitions for their exceptional achievements on AP Exams.
The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performance on AP exams. At Lovejoy High School:
176 students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams
73 students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams
150 students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of 3 or higher
18 students qualified for the AP Capstone Diploma by completing both AP Seminar and AP Research and earning a 3 or higher. Diploma students also earn a 3 or higher on four additional AP courses of their choosing
2 students earned the AP Seminar and Research Certificate by earning a score of 3 or higher in both courses
1 student earned the AP International Diploma by earning a score of 3 or higher on 5 or more AP Exams where the exams fulfill 4 content areas and by sending their scores to a university outside the U.S.

Lovejoy ISD is remarkably proud of the 2024 AP Scholar Award winners and will honor their achievements at a recognition ceremony in early 2025.
