Please note that we will continue to use the Admissions Criteria set forth in the application process including the Instructional Staff and Capacity determination when making admission decisions.

Criteria for Admission:

95% attendance for each class for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years and no questionable pattern of absences or tardies.
Passing all classes for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years.
Students from home school, private school, non-accredited school, or school outside of Texas must show satisfactory performance on standardized achievement test and/or successful achievement on district delivered academic test.
No significant disciplinary history for the 2023-2024 or 2024-2025 school years.
Compliance with the LISD Student Code of Conduct, Parent Code of Conduct, District Policies and Regulations, and Expectations for Behavior of the student and/or parent(s).

INSTRUCTIONAL STAFF AND CAPACITY

The District's capacity for physical space cannot be exceeded within a particular classroom, building, or campus.
In order to accept a student, the District would not require additional staff persons.
The District's program in which the Student would be eligible are not projected to be at more than 90% for the grade level, campus, program (e.g. Gifted and Talented, Special Education, etc.), or a classroom.
