I am originally from Los Angeles, California...and graduated from Arlington Lamar High School. My parents are professors, which I think is where I have inherited my passion for educating young minds. I taught English (grades 6-12) before becoming a counselor.I love spending time with my husband and watching football. I am passionate about helping students learn in creative ways and achieving their post-secondary dreams.
I played volleyball at the University of Connecticut (UCONN) and I have my MEd in Counseling Psychology from TCU.
I love reading, traveling, catching up on old shows, Harry Potter, coaching volleyball, and visiting college campuses!
I also coach club volleyball at Texas Advantage (TAV) where my teams have earned a gold, silver, and bronze medals for the USAV 16 Open division. We earned a gold medal in 2015 with my 16 Open team, and a silver medal in 2014, bronze in 2016, and silver in 2017 and 2019.
