I was born in Lennoxville, Quebec, Canada, where I attended Champlain College, and earned a degree in the Sciences, with an emphasis on math and physics. I then attended Bishop's University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Computer Science, with a double minor in Math and Business.
After graduating, I worked as a Software Engineer in Calgary, Alberta, writing AutoCAD based software packages for use by engineers in designing and building oil and gas plants. I decided to leave the professional world to become a stay at home mom for my three children.
I am GT certified, and absolutely love teaching Geometry at Lovejoy High School!
I moved to McKinney from Calgary, Alberta, in 1996. I have three children. My oldest daughter, graduated from OSU with a major in Music Performance in May, and got married last summer. She and her husband are currently pursuing their Masters degrees at the Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati. My son is currently studying Avionics and my youngest daughter is in her 3rd year at OU pursuing a Marketing degree.
My favorite pastimes include sports (especially hockey - go Bruins!), building things, music, photography and learning new things.
