Karyn Prince
Background:
I was born in Lennoxville, Quebec, Canada, where I attended Champlain College, and earned a degree in the Sciences, with an emphasis on math and physics. I then attended Bishop's University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Computer Science, with a double minor in Math and Business.
After graduating, I worked as a Software Engineer in Calgary, Alberta, writing AutoCAD based software packages for use by engineers in designing and building oil and gas plants. Shortly after my son was born I decided to leave the professional world to become a stay at home mom.
I have been teaching full time since 2012. I am GT certified, and absolutely love teaching Geometry at Lovejoy High School!

I moved to McKinney from Calgary, Alberta, in 1996. I have three children. My oldest daughter, graduated from OSU with a major in Music Performance. My son is currently studying Cyber Security at UTD and my youngest daughter just graduated from OU in 2020 with a Marketing degree.
