I'm excited to be a Leopard again this year. This is my 10th year teaching at Lovejoy High School. I am the Science teacher in the Center for Academic Training (CAT). I work with students to improve their learning in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I also help keep kids organized and encourage their academic success.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992 and started teaching middle school in Irving, Texas. Three years later, I had my first child, we moved around quite a bit and landed eventually in Lucas, Texas. I stayed home with my boys until they entered Hart Elementary school. I was fortunate enough to be added to the staff at Lovejoy High School to continue teaching.
I have been married to to my husband, Phil, for 23 years. We have two sons, Cooper (18) and Zander (17). Cooper is a member of the Lovejoy High School graduating class of 2016 and Zander will be a Senior at Lovejoy High School this year.
If you need help with Science, or really anything related to school, stop by the CAT and let's get to work!
