I am incredibly excited to be in my first year at Lovejoy High School. I feel so lucky to have the privilege to be the Head Girls Soccer Coach as well as teach AP Psychology.
Education: I spent one year at the University of Dallas where I played college soccer. After UD I transferred to the University of North Texas after I decided teaching was my calling. At UNT I majored in Social Studies and minored in Education. I have taught some form of Advanced Placement class since my first day as a teacher. I have been teaching AP Psych for eleven years now. It is such an amazing and relevant class that everyone should take.
Soccer: I started playing soccer like most kids around age 4. As time when on and it got more serious so did I. I played four years in the Dallas Classic league as well as Varsity soccer at The Colony High School. I had the privilege to play one year at the University of Dallas before I transferred to UNT. I was the Varsity assistant for Hebron High School for ten years as well as the JV coach. While at Hebron I was lucky enough to win a State Championship in both soccer and cross country.
Family: June 7 2014 I was lucky enough to marry my best friend Molly. Molly is an elementary teacher for Lewisville ISD and comes from a club soccer background as well. I enjoy nothing more than waking up early on a Saturday morning and watching my favorite team (Arsenal) play while hanging out with my wife and my dog Gunner.
