Fernando Ocampo » Biography

I am extremely excited to start my 24th year in education serving the students, staff and community of Lovejoy High School.  Go Leopards!

For the past two years I have served as a House Principal at Little Elm High School.  Prior to Little Elm, I worked in Frisco ISD for 21 years.  During that time I served as a World Languages Instructional Coach, Department Chair, and Spanish Teacher.  Additionally, I helped open Wakeland High School in 2006.  Early in my career, I served as a Coach in Garland ISD and Spanish Teacher Allen ISD.  Since 2010 I have been fortunate to work for the College Board as an AP Grader each summer.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and History from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook'em!) and a Master's Degree from Lamar University in Educational Leadership.
