Biography

My name is Dakota Nguyen and I am the Assistant Principal for students (A-Gw) for the 2022-2023 school year at Lovejoy High School.

 

I began my educational career teaching middle school math, as well as coaching volleyball, basketball, and track at Good Shepherd Episcopal School. I then transitioned to the high school setting at Lebanon Trail High School in Frisco ISD.  At Lebanon Trail I taught a variety of math classes from Geometry to Calculus BC and coached volleyball and track. Most recently, I served full time Math and Science Instructional Coach at Centennial High School in Frisco.

 

I have my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and my graduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

 

I am looking forward to getting to know and develop relationships with the Lovejoy community and give them the very best I have to offer! Go Leopards!
