I am a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I moved the United States in 2006 to attend college. At the time that I moved to the U.S. I spoke very little English and had to begin my education here by taking ESL classes. Moving to the U.S. and learning a new language taught me a lot about learning languages.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver. While at Metropolitan state I played for the men’s soccer team. I began my career with Lovejoy in 2019 as a Special Educational Aid at Sloan Creek Intermediate School. I enjoyed working with Special Education students and enjoyed my experience with these students.
I am married to my wife Vanessa and we have a beautiful daughter named Anabella. We live in Lucas (Lovejoy ISD) and Anabella attends school in the district. In my spare time I enjoy playing soccer and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy cooking Brazilian foods while entertaining friends. We enjoy traveling to Brazil, exploring other countries (Italy), and traveling to visit family in the U.S.
