Traci Benson

Traci Benson has been teaching math since 2003, in area districts McKinney and Frisco. She has coached for many of those years, several years as a head coach for cross country and track. Coach Benson is an assistant coach for cross country and track at Lovejoy HS and teaches Advanced Algebra 2.

   Coach Benson graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos (now Texas State University) in 2002 with a BS in Elementary Education, specializing in mathematics. She married her college sweetheart, Justin Benson, in 2004 and they live in Frisco. Coach Benson moved here to raise her children in a great community and has not been disappointed.  Coach Benson has two daughters, Peyton, a junior at Lovejoy HS and Camryn, a freshman at Lovejoy HS. 

   In her spare time, Mrs. Benson loves exercising, reading, and being outdoors. She is also passionate about Texas sports and spends many off hours watching professional games or cheering on her own daughters as they compete.

  Coach Benson loves being a Lovejoy Leopard and cannot wait to support her students so they leave high school feeling confident in their math abilities and passionate about their life goals!
