Biography
Welcome Back, Leopards! I am looking forward to the 2022-2023 school year! This will be my 29th year in education, 9th year as a high school counselor, and 2nd year as the lead counselor at Lovejoy High School.
After 20 years in the classroom teaching middle and high school English, I earned a Master's degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. My Bachelor's degree is from Texas A&M University.
I was born and raised in Richardson and returned to the Dallas area last year with my husband, Mark. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and extended family.
I am extremely excited to continue serving the students of Lovejoy ISD by forming collaborative partnerships with our students and families. My goal is that all students feel heard and supported.
