I was born in Fort Worth, TX, originally and then we moved to Weatherford, TX in 2001. I graduated from Weatherford High School in 2006. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Science from Texas A&M in College Station. Whoop! I spent a few years as a personal trainer for a wide variety of people, including student athletes. That is where my passion of working with children and young adults started. I then moved to Plano, TX, to pursue a management career. I ran multiple LA Fitness clubs as an Operations Manager. Being able to hire young adults and help mold them just pushed my interest for teaching further. After a few years in that profession, I decided to pursue teaching as a career. In the spring of 2018, I completed my student teaching at Willow Springs Middle School by working with the 7th grade science department.
I met my wife at Texas A&M when she moved in next door. After dating for 8 years, we finally tied the knot in November of 2017. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Science and then her Doctorate in Dentistry from Baylor in Dallas. She is now practicing with her mother, Julie Stelly, at Stelly Family Dentistry. We have 2 boxers, Samson and Ripley. In my free time, I am mostly at a gym or on the water wakesurfing. I pretty much enjoy anything outdoors. As my students can account for by the decorations in my room, I am a big Incredible Hulk fan.
My goal is for my students to realize the potential they have and enjoy the years they spend here. It goes by quickly and I want them to get everything they can out of it. I will try my hardest to help make every student as successful as they want to be. We all remember those teachers, by name, who really had a positive impact on us growing up. My goal is to be one of those teachers.
