About Coach Lee
I grew up in Watauga, TX and attended Haltom High School, graduating in 2009. I was a member of the varsity softball team, a member of the 4x regional qualifying cross country program, and played volleyball for the Lady Buffs. At Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX, I was an outfielder & left-handed slapper for the Lady Jacks D1 program. As a two-year captain, our team advanced to the Southland Conference Tournament in my final two years at SFA. I received multiple Academic Dean’s Honor roll, President's Honor Roll, and All Southland-Conference Honor Roll awards as I worked to obtain my Bachelors of Business Administration degree, graduating in May of 2014.
After graduation and previous to joining the Lovejoy staff, I began my coaching career at North Forney High School, in Forney, TX. In each of the 3 years on staff, the North Forney Lady Falcons went into the 2nd and 3rd rounds of the state softball playoffs. I also coached cross country and volleyball while at North Forney and taught multiple CTE courses (Professional Communications, Business Info Mgmt, Money Matters, Banking & Finance, Human Growth & Development). I then spent 1-year coaching at Coppell, where both the 6A volleyball and softball programs were Regional Quarterfinalists. In the classroom at Coppell, I taught Business Management. I also began pursuit of my Master's degree to enhance my coaching experience, abilities, and leadership; I acquired a Master's of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University - Irvine in February 2018. I currently reside in Dallas, TX with my boyfriend, Jarid, and our 3 pups Fenway, Wrigley, and Jules.
