This regional high school art competition is organized by the Visual Arts Guild of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts & H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College as a celebration and exhibition of the highest caliber of high school visual art in the DFW area for the past 29 years. Of the 65 North Texas schools and 1120 student submissions, 130 works were selected for the exhibit.
Of the 9 Lovejoy artworks selected for the exhibit, 6 won awards! We are incredibly proud of all LJVA students that were selected for this honor, and applaud the 6 LJVA artists that were awarded as exemplars in their media category.
