About Coach Kelly:
This will be my fourth year to teach and coach at Lovejoy ISD. I feel blessed each day to work at Lovejoy because of it awesome students and superior parent support. I currently serve as the Head Boys Cross Country Coach, Head Girls Track Coach and Assistant Girls Cross Country Coach. My teaching role is Co Teach Pre-AP Geometry with Crystal Smith. I have co-taught Geometry with Ms. Smith for 4 years now! In addition, I case manage students for Special Education.
I am married to wife, Carolyn, of four years and we have one dog named Bella. I grew up in Anna, TX and graduated from Anna High School in 2005. My mother teaches in Anna and has taught there for 25+ years! I have two sisters, Lauren and Natalie, that also teach for Decatur ISD and Keller ISD respectively. My brother Drew is an orthopedic surgeon at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX. I have three nephews and two nieces. Outside of school I enjoy running, hiking, camping, watching sports, going to the movie theater, and playing video games on occasion (if I have time!).
