John Baker

Work: I have been teaching since 2003. I started working at Lovejoy High School in 2014. I am so lucky to be surrounded by this incredible staff that pushes me professionally. I appreciate the opportunity to work in such an inspiring district that truly brings out the best in it's staff.

 

Education: I spent one year at the University of Dallas where I played college soccer. After UD I transferred to the University of North Texas after I decided teaching was my calling. At UNT I majored in Social Studies and minored in Education.  I have taught some form of Advanced Placement class since my first day as a teacher. I have been teaching AP Psych for my entire career. It is such an amazing and relevant class that everyone should take.

 

 

Family: I am married to my lovely wife Molly and father to our daughter Hadley.
