UIL Rules Compliance Program (COPE)
As of 7/24/15, the Rules Compliance Program training modules is open on UIL Online for the 2015-2016 school year. This training needs to be completed before your first day of practice.
When coaches log on for the first time this school year, ALL accounts will be prompted to update their communication profile and training profile. These pages will allow them to update what activities they are in charge of and make changes if necessary from previous years. In the communication profile, coaches will have the opportunity to now 'opt-in' to text message communication.
There are several key points to keep in mind.
Username and passwords are the same as last year. If a coach has already self-registered, they do not need to self-register again. They are already in the system. Both username and passwords are case sensitive.
If a coach can not remember their password, they can utilize the 'forgot password' feature.
If the coach never set up a password initially, the forgot password feature will not work, and the athletic director will need to resend a temporary password to the coach.
If a coach is new to your district, but has already registered, they do not need to register again. They need to complete a transfer of records to migrate records to the new ISD.
RCP website is www.uil-texas.net
This information, along with an information packet to help you access the training modules can be found online at:
NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED TO SEND UIL CERTIFICATES TO ME. I CAN SEE YOUR COMPLETION STATUS ONLINE.
